I am a Registered Social Worker with over 16 years of experience supporting individuals and families in community, healthcare, and school settings. For the past 10 years, I have specialized in providing counselling, mental health services, and consultation within the school system.
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, while incorporating attachment, trauma-sensitive, anti-oppressive, and social justice-informed perspectives.
I provide individual counselling for adolescents and adults, as well as consultation and support for families. Many families seek guidance when navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, school avoidance, family conflict, grief and loss, or life transitions. Together, we can build resilience, strengthen protective factors, and develop practical strategies that support well-being, growth, and positive change.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I offer a compassionate and collaborative space to explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward your goals with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
Please note: In addition to my private practice, I am employed by the Louis Riel School Division in Winnipeg. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, I am unable to provide services to students who attend schools within the Louis Riel School Division or to their families.
