Amanda Carson
RSW
Registered Social Worker, Certified Life Coach
I offer an integrative approach to therapy, specializing in grief, loss and life transitions. Clients often come to me following the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, while navigating a health challenge, or when seeking meaningful change. I also provide peer consultation for therapists looking to deepen their grief work with knowledge, skills and confidence. My approach fosters self-connection, helping you recognize your needs and offer yourself compassionate care. Whether you're processing personal loss or supporting others, this is a space for healing and growth.
Our work may integrate polyvagal theory, IFS, mindfulness-based therapy, breathwork, and brainspotting (a newer alternative to EMDR) within an existential framework. This holistic approach supports you on a nervous system, mind, body and soul level.
Holding space for yourself in this way is meaningful, and I hope you acknowledge that as you take these next steps. I see the therapeutic space as an opportunity for genuine connection and relationship building, and will show up in my humanness in our work together. I look forward to learning more about you and working alongside you.
